i’m sorry but i just love hipsters.

i know i’m not supposed to, but i can’t help it.

especially musical hipsters. they are the best.

you play guitar? oh that’s cool. a little mainstream, but you know, still cool. i play the tambourine. and the bells. and i’m thinking of taking up the triangle. i just think it’s a really under-appreciated instrument, you know? hey, i’ve got an idea. why don’t we find some chick with a semi-decent singing voice and a floral maxi skirt and go play some stuff down at that super small, super unknown coffee shop downtown. we could name our band something sort of sixties-esque. as like a tribute to the greats or something. or we could name it after some random household object. that’s totally ironic, right? and our song lyrics could just be lines taken at random from e.e. cummings poems. 

let’s go to a record store and have a passive-aggressive conversation about who knows of more unknown music. and then let’s listen to some gangster rap. ironically of course.
