2 / REBLOG DAY 19 - January 24, 2012 (Tuesday) I got back to England and got to see the whole Bacon Society (minus Gina who comes back tomorrow, but plus my friend’s boyfriend). We all went out for Mexican food and I was like we’d never left and it was great. And then a few of us played a board game.  And now it’s technically Wednesday, but I’m a bit jet-lagged so I decided to watch the State of the Union and so here I am.

 

DAY 18 - January 23, 2012 (Monday)

I packed and sat around and ate leftover breakfast sausage and then got on a plane. I didn’t take a picture. Oops. 

DAY 17 - January 22, 2012 (Sunday)

A bunch of stuff was supposed to happen on Sunday, but I ended up just packing and then spending my last night in California at home with my parents. It was lovely.

But I forgot to take a picture. 

2 / REBLOGDAY 15 - January 20, 2012 (Friday) It was my dad’s birthday and he and I made dinner together. We had ahi tuna, dumplings, asparagus, and rice. It was delicious. And I am humble.
1 / REBLOGDAY 14 - January 19, 2012 (Thursday) Rachel and I played tourist in Los Angeles all day. We also got rear ended on the way home. Fun times.
2 / REBLOGDAY 13 - January 18, 2012 (Wednesday) I forgot to take a picture, so here is a photo from the website of the place where my dad and I had to lunch. It’s this sort of experimental taco place we’d been to before and I wanted to make sure to go before I left.
2 / REBLOGDAY 12 - January 17, 2012 (Tuesday) From what I can remember, I pretty much sat around all day drinking tea and not packing. And then Rachel and I saw The Iron Lady. I loved and hated the movie at the same time and for the same reason- I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a movie that has ever made me feel so many things so strongly. In a word, it was perfect. And it’s not exactly news, but Meryl Streep is absolutely brilliant. I laughed, I cried, I felt guilty, scared, worried, happy, confused… And though it was only 10:30 when I got home, I couldn’t do much besides get into my pajamas and go to sleep. It was emotionally exhausting, but in the absolute best way possible.
4 / REBLOGDAY 11 - January 16, 2012 (Monday) Yesterday Rachel and I were lucky enough to get to see a special preview screening of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.And I’m sort of ashamed to say that I’ve yet to read the book. I’m not allowed to give out details, but I’ll just say that it was amazing and inspiring and that it was easily Logan Lerman’s best acting yet. My dad made fish tacos for dinner (hence the picture) and later Rachel and I had a nice girls’ night in and watched Gossip Girl and No Strings Attached and drank tea and ate candy.
6 / REBLOGDAY 10 - January 15, 2012 (Sunday) Here is a picture of my nails because the color makes me feel like a mermaid which is a completely normal reaction to nail polish. I didn’t do much yesterday except drink tea and start reading The Fault in Our Stars.
4 / REBLOGDAY 9 - January 14, 2012 (Saturday) Here is a picture of the super stylish/expensive/feminine/figure-flattering outfit I wore today.  I’m fairly sure that all I did today was drink tea and watch Say Yes to the Dress and listen to this on repeat and laugh at the dating advice in Seventeen.  And the rest of my day will be spent eating dinner and then sitting around some more while I wait for SNL…
2 / REBLOGDAY 8 - January 13, 2012 (Friday) Let’s ignore the fact that this was actually taken an hour or two into today… So yesterday I spent my morning sitting around and just generally doing nothing. And then I drove to Courtney’s house and we had McDonald’s and sat in a parking lot for an hour or so. And then we met up with Maddy and went to Improv Shmimprov and it was all very exciting and there was talk of flaccid penises. And then we went to Norms at one in the morning because that’s what you do. And so yesterday’s picture is of Maddy and Courtney being foxy at Norms with their noms. Fun times.
0 / REBLOGDAY 7 - January 12, 2012 (Thursday) Today’s picture was going to be of the cheeseburger I had for lunch, but then The Fault in Our Stars finally arrived and the cheeseburger picture just wouldn’t do. So here’s me. With my new favorite book which I have yet to start reading. And it’s signed in purple marker which just makes life that much better. My day was spent with my friend Molly and we basically relived our high school years by going to the burger place across the street and then to see people at the school we went to.
0 / REBLOGDAY 6 - January 11, 2012 (Wednesday) I’ve just come to accept that a lot of these will be posted a day late… The picture is of the apple that took Rachel about ten minutes to core and that she was really proud of but that I laughed at. I spent my morning watching Say Yes to the Dress because I’m really cool and then spent the rest of my day with Rachel. We bought clothes and sushi and frozen yogurt and Rachel almost lost her sweater in Zara. And we judged hipsters on their cars’ level of irony. And we saw The Muppets, which was really bad but also really amazing and we may or may not have teared up a bit. Also, Jim Parsons.
