DAY 12 - January 17, 2012 (Tuesday)

From what I can remember, I pretty much sat around all day drinking tea and not packing.

And then Rachel and I saw The Iron Lady.

I loved and hated the movie at the same time and for the same reason- I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a movie that has ever made me feel so many things so strongly. In a word, it was perfect.

And it’s not exactly news, but Meryl Streep is absolutely brilliant.

I laughed, I cried, I felt guilty, scared, worried, happy, confused… And though it was only 10:30 when I got home, I couldn’t do much besides get into my pajamas and go to sleep. It was emotionally exhausting, but in the absolute best way possible.
